We believe in living life the way God created us to live it: in community.
Joining a group is your first step in building authentic relationships to discuss both real life and practical faith. Groups consist of 3 or more people who come together as they are to invest relationally, meet regularly and pursue spiritual growth.
If you are new to Trinity Groups, the easiest way to join is by connecting to one of our Medium Groups. Medium Groups are gathering for another 7 to 8-week period this winter beginning mid-January. Each will start with a large group teaching time and then a break off into smaller groups of 8–10 people to discuss the content presented. Many of these smaller groups will decide to continue meeting as an official Trinity Group beyond these Medium Group weeks.
Still have questions about this whole groups thing?
Following Jesus was never intended to be done alone. Attending weekend services is great but that can’t be it. From the very beginning (Genesis 1) God said that it is not good for us to be alone. That’s why we do life together in groups.
A Trinity Group consists of 3 or more people (with an equipped leader) that meets regularly, invests relationally, and challenges each other spiritually. That’s it. It’s that simple. This fall, this takes shape in various medium sized groups being held at Trinity for a 7 week period. It is a great way to get a taste of what Trinity Groups are like, without the long term commitment.
Trinity Groups are a come-as-you-are, no-perfect-people environment where you are welcome, no matter where you find yourself in your spiritual journey. Whether you have never prayed before in your life or are comfortable praying in front of the group, have memorized your Bible or have never opened the Book, you are welcome. Trinity Groups are there to meet you wherever you find yourself in your spiritual life and walk alongside you as you grow in faith, tackling questions and concerns along the way.
Leading a Trinity Group isn’t about being perfect; it’s about serving others by giving them a place to connect. Hosting a small group is simple—choose a topic that interests you and select a time and location to meet with others to share it. We equip you with the essential tools to help your group succeed. Your leadership can provide an environment that inspires people into a growing relationship with Jesus. Lead on.
While we know that a living room setting strikes a chord for some, this approach does not appeal to everyone. We believe that regular meetings where relational investment and spiritual growth happens can be achieved in many contexts. We aim to have a variety of groups available (including both home and affinity groups) in the near future.
JOIN A MEDIUM GROUP
While we’re encouraging people to take in the Medium Group experience first, you may still prefer the smaller, more intimate context. If this is you, email Josh (email@example.com) and he’ll do his best to find the right fit for you.
We are always looking to equip leaders for our various types of groups. If you’re interested in starting a group, or being a leader in any of our existing Medium Groups, start by filling out our Trinity Leadership Covenant.
