In consideration of the public health concerns related to COVID-19, we will not be hosting in-person services this weekend at Trinity Church Kelowna. However, our weekend experiences will continue to be live streamed at all three services times, Saturday 5:30pm | Sunday 9:00am & 11:00am. We encourage you to gather in homes to watch together, learn together, and pray together.
“For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.”
2 Timothy 1:7
COVID Update | May 17, 2020
Go to God as your first priority, not your last resort. We believe God is working supernaturally while we are working naturally.
PRAYER TO PRAY Most Gracious Father, We place our confidence and hope in You. We ask You for protection, healing, and provision. We ask You for wisdom to know how we ought to conduct ourselves as the body of Christ before a watching world. We ask that You would open our eyes to see ways to love our neighbor as ourselves. We ask You to use these uncertain and difficult times to bring renewal to our homes and communities. We ask that, by the power of Your Spirit, You would draw people far from You to place their trust in Jesus.
The unshakable foundation for our lives is God’s Word. It is our source of wisdom, comfort, and faith. It helps defines our current reality and illuminate our path forward.
SCRIPTURES TO MEDITATE ON “When you lie down, you will not be afraid; when you lie down, your sleep will be sweet. Have no fear of sudden disaster or of the ruin that overtakes the wicked, for the Lord will be at your side and will keep your foot from being snared.” — Proverbs 3:24-26
2 Timothy 1:7
God’s people don’t shrink from difficult times, instead, we react in faith believing that God uses our increased generosity to meet needs and shine a light of hope into the darkness people around us are experiencing.
Look for ways to step out and bless the people around you:
Is there anyone in your world who can’t leave their home for essentials?
Lost their regular work?
Need a word of encouragement?
WAYS TO GIVE TO THE WORK OF OUR CHURCH
It’s always our aim to be transparent when we talk about money and finances. Canceling weekend serves has had a significant impact on the donations we receive and need to fuel our ministry. Thank you in advance for your continued generosity.
