Growing spiritually doesn’t happen on its own. It’s a path that requires intentional steps forward. Next Steps are ministries and courses that are designed to help you grow in your faith no matter where you are at on your spiritual journey.
NextGen has three age specific gatherings; middle school youth (grades 6-8), high school youth (grades 9-12), and young adults. Each gathering is a place where students can explore their faith and find a community of peers and leaders to walk alongside during the best (and worst) parts of life.
SheLIFE is about building community, celebrating diversity, and growing in relationship with Jesus. Our passion is to help you grow in loving God, loving people and serving the world. We know that this journey is different for each person!
Who: Those who are in the “Third Stage of life”, sandwiched between the family-raising/career-building years and becoming a senior.
Third Act is the newest ministry at Trinity, focused on building a sense of community and connectedness amongst those who are in their late 40’s – early 60’s in the church. The name “Third Act” highlights the many opportunities still ahead when it comes to having influence.
There’s no such thing as retirement from being part of the life of the church! We depend on the wisdom and contribution of our seniors, whether it’s through praying for our students, helping with physical maintenance of our facility, or growing in a small group. The Adult Fellowship Group gathers monthly for a meal and to connect in community.
Who: For anyone looking to meet with a group of 8-10 others on a similar journey.
Small Groups allow our large church to feel smaller. At Trinity, we believe it’s vital to connect with others, walk alongside each other, pray together, study the Word together and just simply “do life” together.
Alpha is a series of interactive sessions that explores the foundations of the Christian faith. Each week includes a meal, a short talk, and an open discussion to share thoughts and ask questions. Each session looks at a different question, and is designed to create conversation. There’s no pressure; just an open, informal, and honest space to explore and discuss life’s big questions together.
Rooted is a series of studies, each 4-8 weeks in length. Each study will look at one basic area similar to first year Bible College courses – but without the papers and exams. It is a condensed series with a focus on practical application to life. Topics discussed include: Christian Spirituality, Bible, Theology, Church History and other subjects.
