Boundaries are personal property lines that define who you are and who you are not and influence all areas of your life. Do you struggle with saying no, not feeling guilty or worry about hurting someone? This program teaches Biblically-based methods on how to set healthy limits with a parent, spouse, child, friend, co-worker and even yourself while still being a loving person. It will leave you feeling empowered without guilt or fear.
The class runs on Tuesdays for 8 consecutive weeks. Our next session runs from September 18 to November 6 from 6:30pm to 8pm in the Harvest Room.
This class offers emotional healing, spiritual renewal and personal development accomplished through the guidance of an experienced facilitator, the mutual support of fellow travellers and God’s powers. You’ll find hope, self-confidence, insight and triumph over self-defeating behaviours that hijack your closest relationships, healing from past hurts and the freedom to be yourself and all that God meant you to be. We use music, video and creative ways of experiential learning for a more powerful and dynamic weekend.
Friday, Oct. 12 7pm to 9:30pm; Saturday, Oct. 13 from 9am to 6pm and Tuesday, Oct. 16 from 7pm to 9pm. To register for the October class, click here.

Surviving the Holidays After Losing a Loved One (no charge)
It may be hard for you to feel optimistic about the future if you’ve lost a loved one. You probably have found there are not many people who understand the deep hurt you feel, and it can be a confusing time when you feel isolated and have questions about things you’ve never faced before. This seminar features practical suggestions and reassurance through video interviews with counselors, grief experts and others who have experienced the holidays after their loved one’s death. We’ll talk about dealing with hard-hitting emotions, what to do about traditions, how to survive social events and where to find comfort and strength.
This class is free. It is being offered on Nov. 17 from 9am to 12pm in the Harvest Room (refreshments will be offered). Facilitator: Brenda Gerbrandt, Ruth Young. To Register, click here.
