Couples on the brink of divorce who enroll in marriage education with follow up mentoring increase their chances of staying together by 70%. Family Life Canada has created a conversational model of mentoring that is developed to inspire and equip volunteer couples who want to invest in younger couples. The 3 hour training is brief yet comprehensive. Mentors qualify not on the basis of extensive education, experience or training, but on the quality of their character and their marriage. Mentor and mentee couples are equipped with an easy to use Mentoring Conversation Guide which includes questions and exercises on 14 topics crucial for a healthy marriage. Once you are trained and have a mentee couple to mentor, both couples commit to meet a minimum of 10 times over the course of one year. Join us for the training on Sundays – September 17 & 24 9 AM-10:30 AM in B101.
Are you caught up in dresses, invitations, catering and cake? What about planning for a great marriage?
